Veronika Decides to Die

Well, this book show the importance of life and how we waste it trying to be as others because you are insane if you try to be different.Now days people are just zombies sleep,work,eat that's what they do;they get in routines and never risk to do something new; this routines make their life boring and nonsense this is what happened to Veronika and what make her want to finish with her life even when he had it all.She take pills (because she though it was the best way dying of an overdose and not damaging her body like a shot in a head or jumping from a building would) and write this crazy letter saying that she killed herself so people know where Slovenia was located (because she saw an article in a magazine which title was "Where is Slovenia?") but that wasn't the real motives that make her take this decision she though nothing in her life will ever change (she would get married,have kids,her husband will get a lover but she would forgive him,she would become old and die as everyone else) and she got no reason for keep living. But her plans didn't work out as they suppose to they found her and take her to this place called Villete where they tell her she only have 1 week of life.In Villete three persons will give her desire to life Zedka(a woman who has 2 kids and a husband who are waiting for her,she got in Villete because she got depressed because she start thinking that maybe she didn't fight enough for her first love),Mari(a woman who had an excellent carrier and marriage but she started having panic attacks and she lost all when she enters Villete) and Eduard (son of a politician and his life change after living in Brazil and suffering and accident, he has schizophrenia) but Veronika also give them something Zedka and Mari see how they are wasting their lives while this girl is about to die and decide to go to the real world,it doesn't matter they can do what they want,they can do anything crazy an people would not be surprised after all they were in Villete once. What no one knows is that Dr.Igor had lie to them and Veronika will not die in 5 days, he is only proving his hypothesis about insanity cause and he shows how the limit time left of life makes a person want to keep breathing and live every day as it was miracle and do all the things they were afraid to without expecting the acceptance of others or fear of being called a mad person. Yeah if you are one of those people who like romance you can find it in this book because Veronika falls completely in love with Eduard (who love how Veronika plays the piano and he get out of his imaginary world) and they escape together from that place called Villete were no one has ever escaped (even if they were "sane" already) because living in there means you can do whatever you want without anybody criticizing you and were you have none responsibility. After reading the book you ask you self a question "Why do people always have to follow a model?".
